Luke Monsour – Bulimba Studios

Owning his own production studio has been part of a life long dream for Luke Monsour (pictured with his wife Cindy at Oxford Street Bulimba Marketing’s Christmas Party), so when the opportunity arose to take over the lease on 49 Godwin Street Bulimba just off Oxford Street Bulimba, Luke and his brother Simon created Bulimba Studios. Luke and Simon both have extensive experience in Brisbane’s entertainment and arts industries, as do their other two siblings Linus and Aleathea. Since graduating from Griffith University with a screen production major, Luke has worked consistently as a freelance filmmaker, photographer, documentary maker, graphic designer and multimedia projection artist, and has spent much of his ‘spare’ time lecturing at Griffith University – where he has taught for 14 years. Luke (with the tremendous support of his beautiful wife Cindy) left teaching in 2013 to pursue his film and photography ambitions full time – something the new studio allows him to do.
