Sugo Mi in Oxford Street Bulimba had an overwhelming number of votes from our readers and it’s not hard to see why. The establishment is situated on the dining precinct of Oxford Street Bulimba and had just a handful of customers on Wednesday evening. With a lovely setup and such friendly staff, I could see why it was so popular. But I was here for the food, not the decor. I ordered the “Termolese” pizza, which featured smoked sugo, anchovies, olives and bocconcini. It did not disappoint my hungry stomach. The simplicity of the pizza and its salty goodness, coupled with the melt-in-yourmouth cheese, was a welcome reprieve from the usual greasy, over-the-top pizzas.
