CHARITY EVENT: Rotary Club of Balmoral

Please support Rotary Club of Balmoral‘s up-coming charity event, a movie night at “The Lady in the Van” screening 3 March. Proceeds from this will go to surgical missions led by Dr Vuthy Chheourn, Head of Surgery at the National Pediatric Hospital, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. These missions are to rural and remote areas of Cambodia to correct congenital birth defects such as cleft palate, club foot, and acquired injuries such as burn contractors, and also facial tumours. Cambodia is so poor that these people would never be able to afford to travel for surgery let along the cost of surgery so these missions are critical to improving the standard of living for so many.
