I am honoured to be Brisbane born & bred. And am a proud Hawthorne resident with my daughters. We are actively involved & are engrained within this wonderful community. We are mostly grateful for our personal safety, our pedestrian lifestyle, our local retailers, schools & activities, our leafy parklands & our river access via our recently upgraded local Terminals.
Almost four years ago, I launched Oxford Street Bulimba Marketing with the vision of positively promoting & engaging our community. And I would like to thank everyone for embracing my vision that has come to life.
Tonight we have engaged Bulimba, Hawthorne, Balmoral & Morningside retailers across many sectors, as well as business & community groups, sporting clubs & schools who work tirelessly to succeed in their businesses as we do, which is all our livelihoods – to make our community so liveable for us locals & such a vibrant destination for our visitors who help to sustain & grow our businesses. Many of our businesses are independent & sole or family-run, some are franchisees. Some are home-based, many have a retail shop presence. A lot of have been operating many years, some are start-ups.
