Longtime local, friendly & gorgeous “Julia the Shark” (pictured right) has been teaching swimming since 1999, when she established Hampton Swim School whilst training & competing for Australia. Julia was born & raised in Bulimba, moved briefly to Chandler to be closer to her training pool for five years, then moved back to her much-loved community. Her love of child development saw her open a land-based program, TumbleTastics, in early 2011, an early learning movement & activity centre. After many years on the front line of teaching and administration, Julia continues her role of Director working closely with her Leadership Team to continuously grow, develop & improve the services Hampton Swim School and TumbleTastics delivers to our wider community. Julia’s personal business philosophy is to ‘Nurture, Achieve & Celebrate”, which stands at the forefront of both businesses daily & strategy operations. Julia is a loving wife & a caring mother to 1 young water baby, Ollie, who continues to pay little attention to her in the pool, much to her frustration!
